Hello, I’m Ethan!
Ethan is a performance designer working across theatre, film, and music. They graduated from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and trained at the National Theatre, where they are currently a resident Design Assistant. Ethan's work has been celebrated with nominations for the Offie and Broadway World awards in Set Design.
Ethan brings a wealth of experience from both designing productions and serving as an associate to established designers. Their associate work includes projects in immersive venues, as well as productions on the West End and Broadway.
Ethan’s work centers on creating spaces that go beyond the mundane. Often exploring the human condition and political themes in surreal and abstract ways to evoke visceral responses and invite personal reflection.
A firm believer in collaboration being the heart of successful storytelling, Ethan embraces the concept of total theatre—melding design, movement, sound, and lighting in harmony. Ethan wishes to be involved in the creative process from start to finish, believing that every contribution is invaluable, no matter the role.
